Genetic Algorithms and evolutionary programming are vastly interesting fields of study. The machine

above was designed using a structure similar to that found in the brain, and consisted of millions of

Neurons, Axons, and Dendrites. The machine was a research vehicle into evolutionary hardware, that is,

machines that evolve circuits and solutions to complex problems using techniques similar to biological

evolution. The machine breeds millions of generations of solutions to a given problem, and using survival-

of-the-fittest techniques, arrives at a best-fit solution using advanced hardware techniques instead of

software. Because of this, it is many thousands of times faster than a desktop computer when faced with a

challenging, and complex problem.
