I recently designed this radio for a company needing a very small
footprint device. It is an 802.15.4 standard radio- compared with a dime.
This tiny radio was even tested running a Web server using a Contiki open
source stack! Pretty cool. It could feasibly be used to link a camera and PC together using
the 802 standard, but is only capable of 2Mb/sec transfer rate at short
distances. For 250Kb/sec, it is capable of reaching about 3/4 of a mile line-of-sight.
This was nice technology.
